We are the fifth generation of the Addison family which has farmed in Thornton on the Pennyman Estate. We started taking liveries in 1971 and this additional enterprise has gradually expanded to become one of the foremost in the area.
Ideally situated on the urban fringe our customers travel from Stockton-on-Tees, Middlesbrough, Stokesley, Redcar,Guisborough, Darlington and Hartlepool.
Our stables, grazing fields and facilities are divided between what once were three small, separate farmsteads. These are at Thornton Low Moor Farm, Thornton High Moor Farm and Howls Nest. We run these yards together as Addisons Liveries.
Our facilities have 24 hour supervision from our family team who are very experienced in every aspect of horse care. Our yards are British Horse Society registered.
Me and my daughter have been on Addisons for nearly 6 years now and can say from other yards we have been on in the past and yards we have visited over the years they are by far the best for all they offer. We could not be happier, its a very friendly yard, they have great facilities. We love it, Thank you!
