Shoes Repairs in Preston

BEWARE! Terrible experience that resulted in us being left with a pair of expensive shoes damaged. Shoes were left with Caunces and collected a few days later. On inspecting the work, both the soles and sides of the soles on the platform were damaged where not enough care was taken smoothing off where the work had been done. The soles are red, so the damaged areas stood out. These are not areas that would wear through wearing the shoes, so these are permanent marks. Even the point of the toe where additional smoothing had been attempted rendered the patent with small dents. When trying to have them looked at after returning them, the man in the shop was aggresive and even walked off to the back of the shop rather than try to resolve the matter. These were clearly bullying tactics to try to fob us off. A subsequent phone call resulted in the same person hanging up the phone! No option now but to initiate a small claim as they will not help us after ruining a pair of what were brand new and unworn shoes. I would not trust Caunces with a pair of 99p flip-flops quite frankly. Avoid them at all costs.
