If you want your car fixed quickly (i.e. in less than 1.5 months) then DON’T use this garage. Speed, along with customer service are not the forte of staff at Christchurch Garage. They clearly have no idea how to communicate with one another, & the word ‘sorry’ does not exist in their vocabulary. My car was with CG for 7 weeks and I had to chase them every step of the way for updates & info. They finally lent me a courtesy car which was completely unsafe & not roadworthy (the speedo & the fuel gage didn’t work & the engine had a lovely habit of cutting out at junctions & roundabouts), & actually broke down completely on 2nd day of use. I had belongings in the boot of the courtesy car which I didn't have a chance to retrieve at the time of break down - I have only now (1 month later) managed to get them back from the garage, despite daily phone calls and offering to pick it up myself. The most appalling garage I've ever had the misfortune to deal with, causing nothing but stress & upset, & have never once apologised for the delay. If I had £1 for every time they said “it will be ready tomorrow” then I would have had enough to pay the extortionate bill twice over… Save your sanity & avoid this garage at all costs...
