Second hand car
I bought a second hand car which after a month developed a fault. The car struggled to start and white smoke appeared from the exhaust. I continued to monitor the situation, continually topping up the coolant. After a few months (only do a few miles a day) took it for repair to find out the head gasket had gone and also had several other faults with the engine. It cost me £500 to get repaired and potentially more in the coming months. I was even advised to get rid of the car asap. Find this unacceptable after I have done less than 1000 miles. Rang the dealer who was really rude and ended the call. Avoid at all costs. I would expect problems with a second hand car but not after such few miles.
