The dictionary definition of poor customer service!
The Daventry Sheaf Street post office branch provides the worse customer service that anyone will ever have the misfortune to experience. They have the rudest and most miserable staff imaginable who are slow, inefficient, regularly overcharge, always ask if you wish to send by the most over the top and expensive option possible and provide incorrect advice when paying for their passport application check. They treat items of mail as if they're pieces of rubbish, throwing the items on to the floor. Not only do they treat their customers (who they must think are privileged to be paying their wages) with disdain but they also openly gossip and are derogatory about any of their colleagues that are absent - thoroughly unprofessional and backstabbing. The experience is so bad that I now would rather go on a round trip of 30 miles to use another post office than use this pathetic establishment. Avoid this place!
