Hello, i am from New Zealand and my daughter had a car crash two weeks ago near farms in your area. We have a few cattle on a very small acreage here in NZ and wonder why cattle are allowed on the road there? If a cow here is hit by a car the farmer is fully liable They were not driving fast and it was dark and raining. Katie spent 8 hours having her face reconstructed. My beautiful girl is very badly scarred, can not see properly out of her eye has metal plates in her face and will need further surgery. The doctors at Hull Royal Infirmary say she is not the first person to be badly injured and at first thought she would not live You would probably know all the local farmers and I wonder if you could lobby the local council or regulatory body so they would pay for fencing, to save the lives of travellers and also cattle. We couldn't even get over there to be with Katie as my husband was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma the night she was hit and is very ill. I hope to be over one day to campaign for safety on your roads but at the moment are powerless Thanks Adrienne Merryweather adriennemerry@gmail.com
