Rehearsal Studios in Oxford
Glasshouse Studios consists of three professionally spec'd rehearsal rooms and is run by musicians for musicians. Each room has a top of the range PA system including three separate monitor mixes. Backline hire is included at no extra charge and consists of Drum kit (including cymbals), Bass Amp, and 2 x guitar Amps.
The rooms are clean, large and comfortable giving the artists the perfect atmosphere to express themselves..
Before beginning work on the studio we asked ourselves what a good rehearsal space should include, and came up with the following;
– A great PA system and monitoring that you can actually hear the vocals through
– Quality Solid backline equipment that won't let you down
– A relaxed yet professional atmosphere with adjustable lighting schemes to suit your mood
– Available 7 days a week
– Somewhere to make a cup of tea
– Friendly helpful assistance
Come and see for yourself..................
Please note - Coldroom Studios was closed down in 2014. It was rebuilt, and rebranded to become Glasshouse Studios in May 2015. These reviews are for the old place - NOT the new studio who is run by someone completely different.

I heard the studio made some changes the last month and that all is running good again, I had no problems what so ever and was well and friendly handled. Great equipment and great rooms!

This is a terribly run place. It used to be a fantastic rehersal space, run by an intelligent guy who actually picked the phone up when you called. This new woman has run it into the ground and barely picks up her phone. Avoid.

Unfortunately the Cold Room Studios are run by someone completely unable to cope with managing a rehearsal space. Do not be surprised to arrive to find someone else in the room you booked, or to be charged more than you were quoted. If you dispute anything, the manager gets very aggressive and abusive - I've been called all manner of names. This is not a professional outfit, and the rooms themselves are ill-equipped. To be avoided.
