Ronnie Sim and his colleague of Guardian stone rebuilt our garden wall in Bowmont Terrace in the West End of Glasgow, the final result being of a very professional and high quality standard. Despite almost one year passing between the original quotation and the work being carried out, Guardian Stone kept to their original price. Not only did Guardian stone carry out the exact work specified in the quote but, as they were able to retrieve more stone from a nearby chimney that was being repaired, they built the wall higher and, where the original quotation included using concrete slabs that were already in place, they replaced these with a proper stone wall making sure the finished wall had proper capping stones and the lime grouting was of the right colour and of the best quality. If he was unsure that something would look the way we wanted it, Ronnie would ask or, even better, use his expert initiative. As the work was being carried out adjacent to a public right of way, Guardian Stone made sure that their was no nuisance value to members of the public and that any mud and debris was cleared away each evening and at the end of the project. The adverse weather conditions did not deter them from working. If you need a stonemason then you can do no better than employing Guardian Stone.
