About Us
We are the only privately run, family owned funeral company in Thornaby. We opened the funeral home on Lanehouse Road in March 2010. Funeral Director & Proprietor, Irene Jessop has over 18 years of experience serving bereaved families in their time of need. Irene is both a fully qualified funeral director and embalmer, therefore, families can be reassured of real care and professionalism at all times. Close friend and associate, Dave Williams also assists with the arranging and conducting of funerals. He has over 7 years experience as a funeral director formerly with the Co operative Funeral Service. Irene's daughter Joanne often assists with the day to day running of the funeral home and is currently in the process of attaining the Dipolma in Funeral Directing. Our motto is "always with honesty, dignity and respect" Sentiments very important to Irene's beliefs within the funeral profession. We are a member of the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF). Treat us as family - we'll be there when you need us.
