Buyers Beware
We recently bought an enloosed Jacuzzi/Massage bath/Sauna from a company call JT Spas in Northern Ireland. What a disaster! We paid over €1300 for this unit only to find that it leaks water like a sieve. The unit was installed in our upstairs bathroom and after a few weeks we noticed a large water stain on the ceiling of a downstairs bathroom. We had our plumber call out and he found that the jacuzzi unit was leaking water every where. When we rang JT Spas all they said was it was down to the installation and that we should use more silicone to stop the leaks. Our plumber advised us that there should be rubber seals where the water was leaking from and that these should have been installed at time of manufacture. Its obvoisuly a very poor design and there cannot have been any factory testing to see if the unit leaked. Dispite several calls to JT Spas we have had no satisfaction. When we ask to speak to a manager we are told that management don't take calls from customers! I have since discovered that JT Spas is no more than an Online Call Centre and that they purchased the spa from Burnley Plumbing in the UK. We called Burnley Plumbing and they were of no help either. We are in the process of taking legal action against these people but in the meantime we are left with a very expensive Jacuzzi which has damaged our new home. Buyers be warned, stay well clear of these crooks!
