This shop was recommended by a friend who is a regular customer. I couldn't believe my eyes when I stepped back in time to see over a hundred varieties of sweets from my childhood. With 5* hygiene certificate (tongs used at all times) I didn't have to worry. Rachael the girl who served me was polite and helpful. She also makes giftboxes, wedding favours etc. It's my regular haunt!

I have to say, what a shock it was to find this little gem buried away in the high streets of Guisborough. It was not the fantastic yet authentic design of the shop that took me back, but truly warm and inviting attitude of the staff. It's no wonder that all the locals keep returning, as its like a trip to Grandma's house. Rachel is always joking with the kids; or asking how that trip out was. She genuinely makes an effort to get to know you, (remembering the kids names or what ur usual sweet is) doing what ever she can to make the trip over a pleasant one. All I can say is, Kitty's is the only sweet shop in my life now.

I Will never be shopping in this shop again. me and my family went in to the shop and were taken aback my how good it looked and the amount of sweets they had. i took a photo which is one of the stores biggest complement, which i think any normal person would. Before i had even been able to look at this photo the girl that worked there processed to take my phone off me?? How inappropriate this was. I did not give my phone over but at this point the owner of the store came over to me to and ask me to leave with a push. This is not a shop i Will ever shop in again nor recommend to anyone. i have never been ask to leave a shop and for something so petty. maybe if you dont want photos taken put a singh up as not all of us are mind readers as you think we are.
