Terrible Customer Service
I have ordered equipment for house parties from this company twice. In my opinion, Whitestone hire must be a family led, very backward thinking business. I'm not quite sure how they can claim to have the largest catering equipment in Northampton. The equipment is hardly presentable, old and they don't do basic party essentials like outdoor heaters. The cocktail glasses and flutes are small and very old fashioned. But more importantly the reps are rude and they are also excessively over - priced. Who charges VAT on Delivery?. It was unfortunately after I'd ordered from whitestone someone advised I could get free glasses from my supermarket. Frankly what really infuriated me, was I had mixed up my pick up date and got an urgent email from whitestone to say their driver was outside my property, I called back immediately and the very rude sales rep decided to educate me on how to use my diary and then put down the phone. Who runs a business that way! simply because I suggested that they send a reminder email over long hiring periods. Whitestone is a small, very badly managed company in my opinion, the atitude is shocking.
