I bought my first bike a Yamaha DT125 from Moores in 1985 and have been a customer ever since. Moores provide a service that is tailored to your individual needs as motorcyclist. All my bikes have been reguraly serviced at Moores and I have never had a mechanical breakdown over this period. Put simply the bike always rides better and stops better allowing me to enjoy trouble free motorcycling.

I purchased my first motorcycle from Moores, in 2000, after being off bikes for 20 years. Colin talked me into a Fazer 600, great bike and he was very knowledgeable about, clothes, helmets etc. So after riding out with a big grin on my chops, I fell in love with motorcycling again. Within 6 months i was back, part exchanged my fazer and purchased a 2001, blue FJR, i can only describe it as my first true love. They have looked after it extremely well over the last 10/11 years, and i feel like i have become part of the family!! I have put over 75K on the bike and its still running the same if not better, then when i purchased it. The team of mechanics they have are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially Adey, who has looked after me for all this time. They all have there part to play, and work together as one, Big Dave, Little Dave, Lawrence, James and Colin, thank you for looking after me and my beloved motorcycle, please, please keep up the good work, there are not many businesses with old world charm like you anymore, THE BEST !!

Old fashioned qualities

Moores are a great old fashioned (that is a compliment in case you're wondering) motorcycle dealership with high standards and good service. After being a regular customer for many years I finally bought a bike from them a few months ago, and have not been disappointed.

Hemel History

Moors motorcycles are a part of Hemels history, limited only by the size of the site. Some how they keep going when larger more affluent dealerships go to the wall is down to the hard work from staff and management. I have grown old with the same staff i have dealt with over the years and have spent many happy years visiting,funnely without acctualy buying a bike from them. As long as Morrs are in business i will always use them .Highly recomended

I have been going to Moores Motorcycles since I moved to Hemel Hempstead and there service has got better and better over the years. They are really helpful bunch of guys who are willing to help and go that extra mile for you. They always make sure that you are aware of any issues with any work/servicing you are having done so you know the score and fully aware of the situation before they go ahead with things which is great. They are happy to work on any type of bike, despit ebeing a yamaha dealer, so I always feel comfortable taking my Fireblade down there. They have a reasonable selction of gear and crash helmets which you can browse at and if there is something you can't find or they don't have that particular type of crash helmet they will order it in for you, this process is usually very quick too. They have some decent bikes for sale, again they aren't all Yamaha's, they do have second bikes as well which is always nice if you are shopping on a smaller budget. The mechanics will happily discuss and explain things with you should you have any queries on work or repairs that you may have. Overall these guys will do everything they can to help out and I fully recommend Moores Motorcycles.
