We ordered a prom dress (and paid in cash straight away because they asked) after trying it on in the shop, but wanted a different colour and made into a one-shoulder which we were told could be done. The dress took 10 weeks to come back and when we went down they had ordered another halter-neck dress in a slightly different shade!! But we were again told it could be altered to what we wanted. Waited another 4 wks then went down to try on but NO ALTERATIONS had been done!! Waited another 2 weeks, phoned them and told them I would be down to get dress and had someone to do the alterations. Couldn't return or complain because we were 2wks away from prom and was afraid we wouldn't get a replacement so had to make do. The seamstress we found did an amazing job changing and altering the dress into a one-shoulder plus I had to order extra material from China as this is where the dress came from, it was ok but NOT UK shop standard. Had I known if was coming from China I would have saved myself some money and ordered from there myself... Would never shop there again.

Bridesmade dress ordered February or March , wedding next week deposit paid only to find that instead of turquoise -red or fuchsia came in!! So all chairs covers table cloths, napkins, flowers', ties, favours, table decorations, invites and cake made to turquoise means nothing . I know a deposit has been refunded which is very charitable of the so called business be couse the customer was rude to the assistant! And who wouldn't be. What is the bride supposed to do now, with 10 days to go?. The reviews are not good that I have seen,I will be watching for more reviews on this subject. Not a business to be recommended when mistakes like this happen! A very upset sister of the bride

My daughter was given her dress 4 days before her wedding and she was extremely stressed but hid it well because she didn't think she would get her dress out of the shop. We finished sewing what had not been done as promised. I had to have another back panel made because the one provided was too small and the inside strap to tighten the dress was hanging on a thread. They had the cheek to double charge me. Such a bad attitude and poor service.

We ordered a prom dress on 8th of april,they finally said they could not supply at beginning of june.After a lot of asking for a refund they gave me a cheque for £125 and bounced. I contacted trading standards I was told they breached their contract and should have refunded the way it was paid(debit card) I found out they are trading under another name around the corner selling tacky wedding dresses for £99. Please be carefull giving this company ANY deposit, I didn't even get an apology,that says it all

Wedding dress so far
I'm in the process of getting two wedding dresses for my big day but at the moment I'm having difficulty and my dress hasn't even been fitted to me yet, we have been mislead and it seems now we are gonna have to wear a dress that smells like old cigarettes n are scared that the fitting and alterations tha we where promises free of charge are not gonna be to a high standard..... Not only have we had miss communication we ave also been pestered to pay full amount ASAP even though we had a prearranged date set out.... This is not looking good so far will give an update once the fittings and alterations have been confirmed
