    History of the Institute. Is the Arthur Thompson mentioned in todays Northern Echo a descendent of Arthur Thompson born 1881 in Redworth Road ,Shildon?His father was a Railway Guard and he himself was a Railway Clerk in 1901 living at Victoria Street, East Thickley.My interest is because I am doing the Family Tree.
