Scott Pinder's terrible service
The glowing review on Free Index from Toni Harvey who is, erm, Scott Pinder's wife (Scott Pinder = SP Auto Repair)! Scott was great. At first. Then he became impossible to get hold of. Then he disappeared for a month or 2. Then he popped up again, made appointments to come over and didn't show up (repeatedly). Then he turns up with a lame excuse or 2 and does a bit more (normally half the job) and promises to come back in a couple of days and finish the rest. But then doesn't turn up on the day. And never phones to say that he can't make it. He also made a right mess of some simple electrical wiring, and then misdiagnosed the resultant inevitable problem as something else (which baffled everyone who looked at his work as to what planet he could have been on). After months of this messing about, I had to find another mechanic. His Customer Service is a shambles, basically.
