A real let down
We have booked spangles before for a family function, where we found he was great entertainment for both adults and children alike. It was because of this successful encounter that we booked him again for our little gilrs birthday party. HE DIDN'T SHOW UP! We had a venue booked and paid for, 20 children and 1 excited birthday girl looking forward to his visit. When he was half an hour late we rang to see where he was and it was then that he revealed that he had completely forgotten and couldn't make it! He acknowledged that the booking was in his diary and apologised. This, as you can imagine was not good enough and it ruined the whole day, wasted our money booking a venue and upset our little girl. There was no offer of compensation, monetary or otherwise. Overall, good entertainment... IF HE TURNS UP!!! Not a risk we will take again!
