Tyres Galore Ltd Review - Avoid!
I went to Tyres Galore, Leicester to get 4-wheel laser tracking done. I would advise no-one to ever go there. They charged me £36 for 3 adjustments which still left the car pulling to the left and the steering wheel not in the dead ahead position when driving straight. I went back 2 further times and each time they made it worse, which is when I gave up. I kid you not, these are the excuses I was given by the owner of the place when re-doing my tracking (all of which are nonsense): 1) I had a 'non-rotational' tyre fitted! 2) I had two tyres with different tread patterns! 3) My Power Steering was 'knotchy' (not true). 4) My Power Steering musn't be working! (not true). 5) My steering had a different direction when engine running and engine off. 6) I had play in my steering rack. (not true). Now, my car is low mileage and I also know a fair bit about cars and mechanics, so whilst listening to this garbage I had to just nod my head in agreement in the hopes they would just finish the job. I could have argued each point but from past experience i know that would have got me nowhere.
