I work full time in Scunthorpe, and needed to replace a watch battery, which I could only do over a wekend. The mainstream jewellers all suggested the Watch Hospital but added that it doesn't bother to open on Sundays. In the end I popped into Poundland, bought a whole pack of suitable batteries for £1 and fitted one myself. Honestly, what's point in leaving a shop closed on one of the few days when most of your customers can get to you?

Bought two watch strap pins then when I got home realized I had bought wrong ones .phoned up straightway and was told to bring back, was told by another guy that I could not have a refund as (in his words )I asked for them, and would only swap them if I coughed up a further £5,bearing in mind I already paid £5 making it £10.did not bother as I don't like take it or leave it attitude .Got them on internet for £2.won't be using them again
