A holiday caravan of your own in the heart of the sunny Sussex countryside close to the Sea and the Downs. With the golden sandy beaches of Littlehampton and the ancient town of Arundel at your doorstep and the bustling resorts of Bognor, Worthing and Brighton only jaunting distance away. Your caravan would be sited on a hard base and remain safely in its position through the winter as Brookside lies protected in the area between the South Downs and the friendliest of Britain's coasts.
Brookside is set in attractive rural surroundings by the small village of Lyminster, about 2 miles from old world Arundel with its magnificent historic castle, and 1.5 miles from Littlehampton where sandy beaches make an ideal playground for children. Littlehampton holds a consistently high place in the official sunshine summary issued annually by the Met. Office and the beach has once again been awarded a European 'blue flag' this year! Plenty of places of interest and beauty spots are within easy reach. Brookside is an excellent centre for exploring the South Coast. The park extends over 6.5 acres of clean, well-drained grassland. The caravans have their own mains water and drainage connections. There is a small launderette with iron points and a screeend drying area on the park. A games room has pool table, table-tennis, table football and wall games. The swings, rocking horse, playframe and large sandpit and always popular with the children and there is lots of open grass. Footpaths lead across the adjoining farmland, and there are lovely walks and cycle rides nearby in the heart of the West Sussex woods and downs. The shops at Wick are less than half a mile from the park enroute to Littlehampton.

ON THE PARK: Well... it has started. The workmen have arrived en masse. Within a day or so they had removed the old ladies and gents toilet/shower blocks (yes, we had showers for tourers and tents (in the late 1960s!!) and those without them in caravans many, many moons ago!) and the work has begun transforming the building into a shiny new laundry and disabled unisex toilet. We are all excited about this and it really is interesting to see the progress made on a daily basis.FOR OWNERS: One and a half weeks until we are open for the 2012 season - it has been really cold down here for a few days at the beginning of the month. When you return, please take extra care when you are draining up as we have had pipes freeze even underground. If you have booked our drain down and up service, please give us 48 hours notice of when you are coming back on site so we can have everything ready for you. FOR HOLIDAYMAKERS: don't forget that you can take advantage of a 10% discount on Company owned caravan and bungalow holidays by mentioning 'Touch' when you book (this will work over the phone on 01903 713292 or on our website's online booking system www.brooksideuk.com ). There are still a few vacancies for Easter and the Queens diamond jubilee breaks but they are selling fast!FOR POTENTIAL OWNERS: we have a good range of new and pre-owned sited caravans for sale starting at £4800.00. 2012 might just be the year for starting out with the caravan holiday lifestyle that our owners truly enjoy. Please feel free to pop in at any time and see what we could offer you here at Brookside.Mark.

This superb caravan will be sited in early March in a good secluded position on standing No.57 at Brookside, and we believe that you will not find a better deal for this brand new model elsewhere (I've checked online and found other parks selling this model for over £18000 unsited!). Drive south from the A27 onto the A284 and we are down the road 3/4 mile on the right. Look for our windsock.
We deliberately chose this site as they didn't have a club-house, which we thought would mean a quieter site - and we were right! It was lovely and even better than we hoped. We rented a caravan for a week in August 09, and although the children were off school there was no noise other than normal play and we couldn't believe how quiet it was of a night-time and early morning. I think the tranquility of the area affected us all! Would recommend to other like-minded people looking for a relaxing holiday, or with young children. It is located in an ideal spot very close to Littlehampton and Arundel, and within easy reach of Chichester and other areas (we loved Pagham). The staff were very friendly and welcoming and can provide local information of what's on etc. We would highly recommend.
