We went in to buy 29" wheel mountain bikes for a 2700 mile mountain bike race. They came back to us with the Giant 29ers which were a good bike. We asked for tubeless wheels/tyres. Basically they balls it up several times, ordered in wheels or tyre conversions that were completely wrong. One set could only take 80-kg. I weigh 86kg and then there's kit to go on after this. It was only in a quick conversation we caught this piece of info (stuff they should've known and either order something else or at least inform us. They knew or sizes and could tell this wouldn't have worked) as they would've put these on the bikes and we would've had big problems in Canada where the race was to start. This left us having to source wheels in Calgary at the last minute. Costing us a lot more in the long run. If they did a bit of research before just ordering the first thing on the list. It cost us hundreds of pounds each to fix their rather uneducated guesses. Simple stuff is fine. Road, Downhill and general stuff. We got let down in so many ways with these guys. Ring around before you buy as the discounts they offer often work out to being the same as standard prices at other bike shops or a little more than. Even cheaper if you try it out there then order online elsewhere.

Thank you so very much for helping me find my new Trek Cobia, what an awesome bike. It is exactly want I wanted and was over the moon with it once you did a little adjustment to make my bike fit me perfectly (it was a joy to get such great after sales service), something you would never get from an on line purchases or from other shops who are just interested in selling. The personal care and service I received for AW Cycle was bar none. I would recommend AW cycle to anyone looking for a bike that fits their requirements and budget. I really can’t say enough how happy I am with my bike and service I have received. Thanks AW Cycle keep up the great work.
All, thank you for the fantastic welcome you provided us at your store today. The expert advice provided and the excuse to test ride a number of shiny new bikes made our day. We have bought a new Trek Mamba 29 inch hardtail as my wife's first serious mountain bike. We hadn't even got into the house before she was off into the local forest. The only issue is I can't be out done and will need a new bike myself. A bike thank you to James Thompson for his patience in selecting the best bike for our budget and educating us on the pros and cons of what you had to offer. Hopefully the Whyte carbon has my name on it! Thanks again
Just A quick line to say thanks for making the purchase of the Trike so painless. My Son loves it, as do the other Kids when he lets them near it .
Just a quick note to say thank you so much for the guide, which arrived at my father's yesterday....he is very happy :-) Thank you for your help and for your very efficient service
Size 45 received. Perfect fit. Great service.
Just a quick note to say thanks for the excellent service, the bag arrived today next day delivery!!
The expertise in the shop was far better than anywhere else I've been, I'd been looking for a bike for a few months, visited several bike shops and had fittings both in chained outlets and independents and none were anywhere near as knowledgeable or insightful as AWCycles; the fitting service was so much more in depth and professional it was worth the 80 mile round trip on its own. I really can't express enough how impressed I was with the staff in store, their expertise really is far above any other LBS I've been to and I absolutely recommend AWCycles to any cyclist
Feel I should comment on your brilliant mail order service and staff. I phoned on Wednesday and spoke to a very helpful young lady in the Mountain bike section regarding a Whyte Hybrid and got all the answers I needed to help me decide to purchase it. The guy in mail order I was put through to was really helpful too and must have had the bike on the move to PDI before I even pressed the 'purchase' button. It would have been delivered by Friday Lunchtime if it hadn't been for the snow but as it is it still arrived on Saturday, which I consider great service from you and your courier. Thank you to all involved.
