After a summer of record successes, students of Stretford Grammar School are celebrating their own record breaking results. Against a backdrop of tougher standards this year, students achieved another record in the proportion of all grades awarded A/A*. Two thirds of students achieved the difficult target of 5A/A* grades; in addition a quarter of students achieved at least 10 grades at A/A*. A delighted Headteacher, Mr. M. Mullins, stated, “ I am proud of the achievements of our students. Once again staff and students, with the support of parents and carers, have risen to the challenge and achieved some truly wonderful results. Reflected in these results is not only the effort and hard work of our students but also the commitment and dedication of the teaching staff who have worked tirelessly in their support of the students."
