We manufacture high quality made-to-measure gates using time-proven traditional methods. We offer our gates in joinery quality softwood and several types of prime-grade hardwood. Our timber is kiln dried ensuring you get the best quality wooden gates and steel gates available. We have more than 20 years experience in traditional gate-making and are confident in the knowledge that our gates last. We also offer a full gate installation service which includes gate automation and intercom solutions.

We deliver our gates nationwide and delivery is FREE on everything we sell.

I really did not want to ever need to leave this review and hung on hoping Terry would not let us down too - but he did. We ordered a gate installation and paid £3400 up front. Yes we read all these reviews but we also read the more recent ones that said he had turned the business around and so we placed our order and paid. We had a deadline of today from the Council to have the gates up and installed and Terry Knew this from the outset. Prior to paying the communication was great - it actually wasn't that bad before the installation date got close and we really understood. But once the installation date got close Terry struggled to get to us. Terry was one of the very unfortunate people who caught COVID a number of times and this must have been awful, He had several accidents and hurt his shoulder (so my 60+ year old husband dug the trench for the install as no one should be digging holes with injury. Terry had an awful situation with his child to contend with and sadly he got stopped by the AA on the way to our house for his van not being roadworthy and had to get it repaired. So we really tried to be patient and supportive as no one wants all of these problems when earning a living. Sadly the final week when the gates could have gone in Terry stopped communicating at all and ignored us completely. We offered to collect the gates and install ourselves and pay the remainder for the gates in cash on collection but we were ignored completely which really was hurtful. Today the Credit card company that paid the £3400 reclaimed the payment so financially we are not our of pocket but we now have a £5000 council fine to contend with so are a bit hurt. Sorry for the ramble but I didnt want anyone thinking we would leave a negative review to a struggling business unless we had done all we could to be reasonable and helpful in these trying times. Sorry you didnt work with us Terry, we are good people and are so hurt at your ignoring us and treating us this way

Disgrace, do not use

Our gate was bought and 50% deposit paid in July 2021. Similar to other reviewers despite numerous calls and emails and after 6 months we have yet to receive the gates. This company is a disgrace and despite the pandemic and business difficulties should have responded to our communications. We will request a refund now but given past experience expect we will need to take matters further.

Internet order placement responded to with an invoice within 24 hours. Thereafter, 18 weeks later, no response whatsoever to recorded delivery letter, email or telephone calls. As such, we have had to consider that the order is unable to be fulfilled and is cancelled. We have received refund through chargeback with the internet payment service. What a shame !

This company was paid £650 for a hardwood gate but failed to deliver despite many promises .I have had to buy elseware. I am in the process of seeking my money back through the small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES !
