About us
Trax Health Club has been running for over 20 years but in the hands
of the manager James and present owner Reece Winter for the last 8 years. Reece's background is in Gymnastics,Karate, & Body Building. You may have seen him on TV as a trainer on Sky 1 & Bravo.
Trax offers over 50 separate training aids such as weight assisted machines, loose weights, cardio machines, ab balls etc. Lockers are free of charge & a free induction is given plus up to 3 free programs if required.
As a small gym we aim to make everyone happy & help with any health goals you wish to achieve. We can take clients aged from 14 with an adult or 16 on their own & have four members that are in there 80's so we really can give a personal service to all our members.
We are located in Heene Road just a 3 minute walk from the beach or 15 minutes to the local town. Parking is free outside & also in all side roads heading west or parking metres to the east.
As a member you can sign a friend in for a day membership at just £5, cold drinks are available from 50p. Classes are run upstairs and cost between £6-7 per class payable to the instructor. Please drop in or phone a member of our staff who will be happy to help answer any questions or queries you may have.

Small and cramped
Small gyms can be great gyms if their managers are committed to improving the facilities, but Trax doesn't fall under this category. The exercise machines are old (if not broken), the window blinds are broken, ventilation is poor, and so many machines are crowded into a small area that it can feel suffocating, especially in densely packed areas like the weight room. Be careful about signing a contract, as the terms and conditions may not protect you in case of a conflict.
